Synopsis:.Documentary on Pinter's characters including a tour of many of their London hang-outs, such as Hyde Park Corner, Petticoat Lane, the parks, pubs and slums. The film is linked by Pinter talking about writing and about his characters along with five short animated sequences containing charicatured views of these characters made by Gerald Potterton.
